First tip, don't rush print your document. Before you print a document, you should preview your document or photo to make sure it is exactly the way you want it. Spelling check your paper for spelling errors and properly page setup before hitting the print tab. Most time, people only find out the mistakes in the documents, then they have to print again. This is a big waste. Check again before you print and this practice will save ink in the long term.

Second tip, don’t just buy a new cartridge when your printer blinks ‘ink low’ at the first time. Remeber this so that you don’t replace an ink cartridge that can still be used.

Third tip, you can refill the ink cartridge instead of buying a new one. If you don't like refilling, you can always find a compatible ink cartridge instead of the expensive brand new cartridge, if you buy from a reputable re-manufacturer or cartridge source, you will save a lot.
